How to reach the Conference Venue from the Istanbul Ataturk Airport
(23 km distance)

  • By Metro: Service runs every 5 minutes (Airport/Esenler Terminal) with direction to Taksim (fare: 1,50 TRY = 0,8€)
  • By Bus: Shuttle buses depart outside arrival terminal with direction to Taksim every 20min (fare 15 TRY = 8€)
  • By taxi: An average trip by taxi from the airport to the Conference Centre should take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic (opening: 2,50 TL = 1,31€ & 1,30 TL = 0,63€ per km)

Who Should Attend
The conference is addressed primarily to general paediatricians and general practitioners with an interest in child health while it is also of interest to specialist paediatricians who wish to benefit from an up to date overview of the latest developments in key areas in paediatrics.

Official Language
The official language of the Conference in English.

Simultaneous translation into Turkish will be provided in the main hall.

Exhibition
Running alongside the Conference will be a commercial exhibition featuring exhibitors from the international healthcare sector, including pharmaceutical companies, scientific publishers and advocacy groups.

Speaker Ready Room
A Speaker Ready Room will operate throughout the duration of the Conference. Speakers are kindly requested to hand in all material of their presentation (USB-key, CD-ROM) at least one hour before their scheduled presentation time. The following equipment will be available:
* Laptop
* Data video projector (PowerPoint presentation)
* Laser pointer

Name Badges & Conference Material
Name Badges and Conference Material will be provided on-site to all registered delegates at the Conference Registration Desk. All delegates are kindly requested to wear their name badge during all Conference functions.

Certificate of Attendance
All registered delegates are entitled to a Certificate of attendance. Certificates can be collected at the Secretariat on the last day of the Conference upon completion of the Conference Evaluation Form.

Liability & Insurance
Delegates are advised to arrange health and accident insurance before travelling to the Conference. The Conference Organisers cannot accept liability for personal injury or loss/damage to property and belongings of delegates during the Conference or their stay in Istanbul.

Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed in all areas of the Conference Venue.
