The four main thematic pillars of the Conference include:
- Infectious Diseases and Vaccinations
- Respiratory Medicine
- Gastroenterology & Nutrition
- Neurology & Neurodevelopmental paediatrics.
The scientific programme will also comprise of a mix of topics of specialist interest and novel topics of general interest in the fields of:

Specific topics per thematic will be presented in a wide range of over 50 sessions that include lectures, round tables, debates, interactive case studies, meet-the-experts seminars and high quality workshops.
Additionally, two sessions will be dedicated to the presentation of preliminary results of clinical trials which are likely to have significant impact on clinical practice.

The Cochrane Child Health Field and the European Paediatric Association (EPA/UNEPSA) will co-organize the respiratory medicine sessions, all of which will take place on Saturday, 4 December 2010.
